We are studying the 2nd Epistle of Peter in series. Let us learn three things that we, who are saved, should always remember.
Firstly, it is that the God of glory and excellence has called us. God has chosen us and called us to salvation. We have not gotten closer to God, nor do anything good. It is important to always remember that we have been called by God, when we are walking.
Secondly, it is that all things that pertain to life and godliness has been granted to us. We have been given the Word of God, the Holy Spirit as our helper, and the church. And it is important that we make it the purpose in our lives to walk toward the glory and excellence of God.
Thirdly, it is to continuously know and see the God of glory and excellence. We tend to get caught up in the situation in front of us. However, at such times, it is important to know God through His Word and continue to see Him. Then we can walk godly and be used for God's glory and excellence.
Let us walk in godliness, dedicating ourselves to the glory and excellence of God!
