Let us learn three things from the word told through Isaiah.
Firstly, the ways of God are different from the ways of men. The ways shown by God are, not in all cases but many cases, different from those of men. Therefore, we don't have to be discouraged even if His ways are different from ours.
Secondly, God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We can see things only from our scale of thinking. However, God does things higher than the plans or powers of men.
Thirdly, God is the one who can give richly. We acknowledge things by seeing the current status and tend to be discouraged at our weakness. However, God gives richly and encourages us.
Today, we have the anniversary worship of the dedication of our church building. Presently, we neither have a new land nor sufficient fund. Nevertheless, let us trust in the Lord and keep praying. Let us expect the Lord, who is able to provide us with something much higher than all we have!

<The Verse of the Bible>
As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:9 (NIV)
