To return to the mind we had at first

Revelation 2:2-5
January 6th 2019, 1st Holy Day of the month
Rev. Tadashi Nagae, pastor

In any matter of the world, we shall fail if we forget the mind we had at first. It is the same also in the world of faith. How can we return to the mind of faith we had at first?

Firstly, it is to remember the grace we have received so far. The ones less than nothing were chosen by God and were saved. Our lives to go to church, our daily lives are secured. Like that, it is always to remember the grace we have received so far.

Secondly, it is to remember the lives of people in faith. The book of Hebrews describes about the people lived in faith. We need to have encouragement by seeing their lives.

Thirdly, it is to remember the love we had at first. We tend to be away from the love we had at first. If we notice that, we had better not go ahead but change the direction.

What we need to be blessed for this whole year is, not act to and fro, but to return to the mind we had at first. Let us return to the mind we had at first, and live our lives while thanking the LORD from the heart! And let us walk our blessed lives!

<The Verse of the Bible>
Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lamp stand from its place.
